I hope you’re all staying warm and cozy this winter. We just had a massive record-breaking blizzard here in Rhode Island (I believe around 33"). It was a total whiteout. Shoveling through all of that definitely makes me miss Spring, but it gave me some extra time to think about what I want to grow once the ground finally thaws.
There are just so many varieties—from the massive ones that tower over the fence to the multi-color ones that look like a sunset. I haven't quite narrowed it down yet, but I know I want a big, bright variety of them this summer.
When I haven’t been thinking about the garden, I’ve been busy at my desk. I am so incredibly happy to say that the wind chimes I’ve been making are doing really well! It honestly makes me so happy to know that people are loving them and enjoying the sound of them in their own spaces. Thank you guys so much for the support; it really means the world to me.
I’m also getting ready to start a new project - another welcome sign! I’ve done several in the past, but this time I’m going to try a vertical layout. I think it’ll look great leaning up by a front door, and I can’t wait to see how it turns out.
I’m planning on doing a lot more livestreams on TikTok this year to show you guys what I’m working on in real-time, so if you aren’t following me there yet, please do! It’s such a fun way to hang out while I’m crafting or planning the garden.
Stay safe and warm out there, and let me know if you have any favorite sunflower varieties I should look into!
